Today I spent an hour in the gym. On most days when I attend the gym it is normally crowded and hard to find a machine but today was different, there were only a handful of other people in there other than me and almost all of the machines were open. Unless a person was there with their friend and completing a workout routine with them everyone tended to do their own thing. Most people changed from the elliptical, treadmill, or bike after about thirty minutes. On the other machines, like the arm machines, people tended to do a few sets on there and then switch machines. When I traveled towards the back part of the rec I noticed a handful of guys playing basketball and two girls doing ab workouts on the mats outside of the track. If the gym was like this everyday I would say the data I collected suggest that college students are lazy and un-athletic however because many students were just getting back to campus today I don't think its safe to pass this judgement.
